Mixed experience
We recently stayed at The Bridges and had a mixed experience.
The property itself is nice and well-kept. The park, restaurant, and general store were all clean and enjoyable, and the staff we interacted with were friendly.
Our room was mostly clean, but there were quite a few dead ladybugs and stink bugs by the large window.
The biggest issue was the indoor pool area. The hot tub was down for maintenance, which happens, but the heated pool was not what we expected. It had visible debris like tree seeds and other pool material floating in it, and the water was very cold instead of heated. We let the office staff know. They came in, grabbed the dirty towels, felt the water, and then left without any follow-up or explanation.
Overall, the location and grounds are nice, but the pool situation and lack of communication from staff were disappointing, especially since that was a main feature we were looking forward to.

Positive Stay/Work to be dine
We love the property. It contains several unique sites or views. The double natural bridges are unforgettable. The cave is a perk. The creek/river was fun for tubing/wading. Huge pool, hot tub and great walking grounds. Not a single problem with our room. Very comfortable stay. The location/area is limited so bring 90% of your fun: drinks, snacks, books, games, fire starting gear, etc. General store is sparse. Restaurant was the only issue. We went thrice in a two day stay. In order, we had a poor dinner (bad choices perhaps), fantastic breakfast, and never got to try dessert our final visit because the waitress had a meltdown after being overwhelmed by three tables. She cried and focused on her friends visiting. They arrived last and were the only table she went to be before we left to complain. Sunday morning waitress was fantastic. Folks in the kitchen, great. The woman I suspect manages, was always about the grounds looking busy. Sunday evening waitress (7PM), should probably go. It has a local feel and does not seem to cast a big net for outside tourism. I do hope they get there because they place is memorable. Affordable lodging and fare.
